Heroes of Carpe Diem

Heroes of Carpe Diem is one of the oldest NA endgame/HNMLS linkshells on Shiva. HoCD has had many different names/variations throughout it's tenure... however, the name "HoCD" is the most popular and successful of all of it's incarnations.

Originally, the shell was named something else and created/lead by a Japanese player that wanted to help NA players succeed in the game. However, the Japanese player left the shell to forge his own HNMLS. Neorei picked up the ball and made Heroes of Carpe Diem based on the belief that the shell will be the greatest NA endgame shell on Shiva. The name was based on "Seizing the Day."

However, HoCD wasn't entirely ran without it's own line of drama. HoCD and UC butt heads a lot with who would top who.

But originally a co-operation attempt was made with HoCD's dynamis shell: GTC... but after politics and drama, UC pulled away from GTC to forge their own dynamis shell. Ever since then, HoCD and it's incarnations, and UC and it's incarnations have not been friends and never co-operated since.
